It’s hard to believe we showed up at Marc and Karen’s place a week ago! We had a great visit! Steve and Marc did some repair work on the Murphy bed in the RV… lots of swearing involved, but it now works flawlessly! Karen and I did some shopping and had a night to ourselves in Bowdoinham, their second home closer to Portland.
Yesterday we left Bowdoinham and traveled through five states! Maine, New Hampshire, New York, Massachusetts, and ended up in Pennsylvania. It was about 8 hours of driving and we were pooped when we arrived at our campground for the night. I had a few odds and ends in the pantry, and along with fresh veggies from Marc and Karen’s garden, we had a nice dinner. We are back to traveling with Maggie, and we are starting to settle into our new routine.
Today we traveled to College Park, Maryland just out of DC. We will get to see Becca and Bobby while here which is awesome! We will leave here on Monday and spend the night in Shenandoah National Park!
Our campground in Maryland is basically a full on resort for campers right in the city. It is huge! There are pools, mini golf, movie nights, pickleball courts, playgrounds, ponds, dog parks (complete with agility equip), and the list goes on. They do tractor rides, gem mining, a splash park, etc. It is so big that they have golf carts you can rent to get around!
