Yesterday was a travel day for us from the Niagara area to Schodack Island State Park in upstate New York. The drive was freeway the entire way, and we traveled with our friends in their RVs. We arrived at our campground about 3 o’clock in the afternoon. The park was very quiet, heavily treed and really beautiful. We all gathered at Kelly and Kevin‘s campsite and enjoyed an afternoon of relaxation in each other‘s company. After a while, Kelly pulled an assortment of things out of her cupboards and freezer and we had an impromptu taco salad dinner. When it got dark, we were treated to another firefly exhibition. I just love those things!
Oh, and there were these funny looking trees around the campsite! They look like they had giant green beans hanging on them

That was really it for yesterday. It was kind of nice after a couple of busy days. I am writing this from the road right now, as we are on our way to sister Vicki‘s house in Swanzey, New Hampshire.
